ITALY
An area Nielsen is used for effecting the surveys and respects of market, coverage, quotas of market, prices and a series of analysis for the marketing and the distribution.
Italy is divided in four areas Nielsen:
Area 1: Piemonte, Valle d'Aosta, Liguria, Lombardia;
Area 2: Triveneto, Emilia Romagna;
Area 3: Toscana, Umbria, Marche, Lazio;
Area 4: Abruzzo, Molise, Puglia,Campania, Basilicata, Calabria, Sicilia.
Sardinia is excluded, and according to the business politics it is aggregabile to an area, that is potentially the area 3 or area 4.
